Leadership
Institute
The Chamber Leadership Institute is a combination of the best
components of what was previously known as the
Community Leadership Program (CLP) and the
Advanced Leadership Program (ALP). Chamber
Leadership Institute was designed with the
membership in mind. Before, participants had to
register for the entire ten-week program; now
members can complete the 2009 program in two
days (June 22, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. and June 23, 9
a.m. – 5 p.m.)
In the past, many small businesses could not afford the time
commitment involved for the previous programs.
Now, with the new schedule, a greater number of
individuals have the ability to participate
without the stress of being “out of office” for
an extended period of time.
The 2009 Leadership Institute has incorporated a baseball theme,
with this years program entitled, Major League
Leadership. For $395 (which includes the cost of
food, personality testing materials and
worksheets), participants will cover topics
including:
-Identifying your Leadership Style: What
Position Do You Play
-Goal Setting: Pitch the No Hitter with Goal
Setting
-From Bench Warmer to Team Captain
-Reviews: Homeruns vs. Three Strikes
-When Team Members Get Traded: Be the Pinch
Hitter
