• Legal Administrative Assistant/Secretary

  • We are searching for a Legal Administrative Assistant/Legal Secretary for our Champaign office to handle all administrative tasks for 3 attorneys including, but not limited to editing, proofreading and sending correspondence to clients and opposing counsel; copying, scanning and faxing various documents; preparing legal documents/court filings (ie. motions, contracts, subpoenas, decisions and briefs); scheduling depositions and independent medical examinations; managing attorneys’ calendars and appointments; making travel accommodations and reservations; chronologize medical records, organizing case materials; assist with incoming telephone calls, as well as other administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

    Job Requirements: Exceptional technical skills are required with Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, Excel with the ability to type a minimum of 50 WPM with accuracy. Our ideal candidate demonstrates initiative and possesses strong organization, communication and problem-solving skills. The candidate must be detailed oriented, efficient with time management and multi-tasking, works well independently as well as be a team player with the ability to meet deadlines.
