    We are pleased to announce the search for a full-time Resident Engagement Supervisor. The Resident Engagement Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of the Resident Engagement team, and ensuring that programming engages the mind, body and spirit in wellness and community so that residents can live their best lives, no matter what level of care they require, our 27 acre campus. Adaptable, friendly and compassionate leaders who genuinely enjoy building meaningful relationships with older adults as well as team members will thrive in this role.
     
    The Resident Engagement Supervisor (“Supervisor” hereafter) will lead the Resident Engagement Specialists in effective programming and activity coordination to ensure that the needs of all residents are met/maintained on an individual and/or group basis. As an active member of the Leadership Team, the Supervisor will work closely with all departments on strategic initiatives, ensuring that departmental activities align with organizational mission and vision. 
     
    Typical responsibilities include:    
    • Select, develop, plan, organize and evaluate Resident Engagement programs and activities to engage the whole-person for each level of care, including skilled/licensed areas, independent living apartments and villas, and wellness members according to the state and federal guidelines. 
    • Be an expert in ClarkLindsey's dementia care programming, providing education and resources, and monitoring new developments in best practice for working with those residents living with dementia
    • Develop, lead and participate in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging programming, ensuring that activities provide a wide range of cultural perspectives to open the minds of residents and team members.
    • Lead, supervise and support Resident Engagement staff in order to meet organizational goals. 
    • Ensure assessments, care plans and other required documentation are timely and complete. 
    Details:
    •    This is a full-time position
    •    Hours are generally 9am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday. Occasional evenings and weekends will be required.

    Qualifications
    • In order to protect the health and well being of residents and team members, all ClarkLindsey employees must provide proof of COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination prior to employment, or be granted an exemption.
    • Three years' experience within aging services or health care settings preferred
    • 36 hour Activity Director course preferred
    • Creative arts background preferred
    • Experience with PointClick Care and Microsoft Teams a plus.
    • Must be able to use technology (i.e. Microsoft products) to complete job functions including reporting, documenting and communicating. Must have a level of understanding to teach others how to optimally use technology.
    • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with co-workers, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
    • Must have the ability to build rapport with resident, team members, families and others involved with supporting the resident's well-being.
    • Experience coaching and supervising team members a plus.
    • Must abide by ClarkLindsey’s HIPAA privacy and security rules as described in the Employee Handbook.
    • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations.
