    GFL Environment, a leading waste management and recycling company with a proven track record, has a rare opening in its Champaign/Rantoul sales region. GFL Environmental is looking for a hardworking sales professional to strategically target current and potential clientele. 


    Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities: 

    • Primarily call on small and medium-sized commercial accounts in a field-based position to generate new sales 
    • Developing and implementing sound selling strategies to new prospects 
    • Growing existing accounts
    • Achieving budgeted sales goals
    • Aggressive and determined personality to capture new commercial business - all b2b sales

    Out Sales Representative Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business Administration, Marketing/Communications, Political Science, Economics or a similar area of study 
    • Three of more years of current applicable experience in sales, public service, or a related field
    • Preparation, contract management skills 
    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
