Navigating 30 Years of Change:
A Personal Perspective of Women in Federal Service
Ms. Beyler will share the inspirational story of how, beginning as a troubled 17 year-old, she overcame challenges to join the Marine Corps, build a career, open paths, brake barriers, and make a difference both in the military and now as a Federal Senior Executive. Rising from the lowest enlisted rank as a Marine Corps Private to the highest echelons of Federal service, Ms. Beyler has spent more than 30 years leading through the changes in American society that opened opportunities for women in the military and U.S. government. She will talk about her experience as a woman serving in
foreign countries, in the U.S. Senate, and within the Department of Defense.
A full lunch will be provided.
Cost to attend is $29 for members and $39 for non-members. Registration deadline is Monday, April 1, by 5:00 p.m.
Questions? Email Lindsay or call 217.359.1791.
