The host of Round Two of the National Civics Bee Regional Competition is the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce. 

The rules for the the competition are HERE.

How do I know if my student is in the competition? You will be notified by the Chamber if your student has moved on to Round 2.
At the live event, finalists will compete for trophies, prizes and recognition. The top three finalists will move forward to the state competition then the national level to compete for the chance to win the $100,000 college savings plan.

ABOUT THE BEE

The Champaign County Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to host a nonpartisan civics competition that encourages young Americans to engage in civics and contribute to their communities. Participating 6th, 7th and 8th graders will flex their civics knowledge for a chance to win recognition and cash prizes. Finalists will be invited to Washington, D.C. to compete in the National Civics Bee® national championship in Fall 2026.
